"Sharjah Pioneers" Approved financing for 3 new projects at a value of 1.8 million dirhams

Sharjah, 19 October / WAM / The Sharjah Foundation for Supporting Entrepreneurial Projects “Ruwad” announced the issuance of new financing approvals for 3 projects in the emirate, with a total of 1.8 million dirhams.

This came during the thirty-eighth meeting of the Foundation’s Project Finance Committee, which was held under the chairmanship of His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Economic Development Department, with the participation of committee members, along with Fatima Al Ali, Acting Director of the Foundation and Head of the Technical Committee for Project Finance.

The meeting reviewed the projects submitted for financing requests, and the committee decided to finance a vocational project in the city of Kalba worth 400 thousand dirhams with a direct financing system, in addition to financing an industrial project in the city of Sharjah with a value of 400 thousand dirhams with a direct financing system designated to support the industrial sector, in addition to financing another industrial project worth one million dirhams with an indirect financing system through the bank.

By the end of the first half of this October, the total number of projects that received financing approvals from the Project Finance Committee during the year 2025 had increased to 19 projects with a total financing value of 5 million and 660 thousand dirhams.

Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud stressed that the new financing approvals come within the framework of the “Ruwad” Foundation’s keenness to empower citizen entrepreneurs and enhance their role in supporting comprehensive economic development in the emirate by providing appropriate financing solutions that contribute to the sustainability of their projects and the expansion of their activities at the local and foreign levels.
