" Sharjah Heritage Institute" Participate in a forum "Liangzhou 2025" In China

Hangzhou (China) on October 19 / WAM / The Sharjah Institute for Heritage participated in the work of the “Liangzhou 2025” Forum, which was hosted by the Chinese city of Hangzhou under the slogan “Cultural Heritage and Human Cultural Diversity” in the presence of an elite group of experts, thinkers and leaders of international cultural institutions, as part of its strategy to enhance the presence of Emirati heritage in international forums and consolidate the values of cultural dialogue in line with the vision of Sharjah. In building bridges of human communication and enhancing its position as a global center for heritage and culture.
During a speech he delivered during the parallel session entitled “Vision of the Future: Global Cultural Heritage and a New Model for Human Progress,” His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, presented Sharjah’s experience in preserving cultural heritage and employing it in cultural and cognitive development, explaining that interest in heritage represents an investment in humans and their creative energies.
He spoke about the importance of consolidating cultural heritage as a bridge for understanding and peace between peoples, stressing that the human heritage carries at its core a common language that unites nations on the values of openness and communication.
Al-Musallam explained that integrating heritage into education and creativity systems contributes to inspiring new generations and developing their intellectual and artistic capabilities, pointing to the growing role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in preserving and documenting heritage while preserving its authenticity and human spirit.
