المملكة: Education: Central exams for 4 subjects in primary and middle school at the end of the first semester – urgent

Primary and middle schools throughout the Kingdom are preparing to implement Unified central tests in Arabic, English, science, and mathematics, in conjunction with the tests at the end of the first semester of the current year, in a step aimed at measuring the level of academic achievement for all students according to precise and unified standards.

The Ministry of Education explained that these The tests, which will include all primary and middle school grades except the first and second grades, will be applied to all public and private public education students. Question forms are prepared by specialized committees in each educational department, and are subject to a rigorous technical arbitration process by another educational department, which ensures the highest degrees of reliability and approved technical specifications.

Test Supervision Committees

The Ministry indicated that the organization of this huge process is carried out through three main committees in the education departments, which are: the Supervisory Committee, the Technical Committee, and the Academic Achievement Committee.

These committees are responsible for fully supervising all stages of implementation, starting with the formation of technical teams to build and judge test models, through uploading and preserving them on the approved systems, and ending with By monitoring its application in schools.

These committees undertake the tasks of identifying potential challenges and developing the necessary solutions to them, managing alternative test models, and submitting final performance reports after the end of the tests.

The mechanism also includes re-correcting a random sample of students’ answers and comparing them with the observed results to ensure the accuracy of the correction processes. General Directors of Education have been given the authority to apply these tests for other academic periods when needed.
