" Cyber security" Collaborates with Amazon Web Services, CrowdStrike, &e to accelerate cyber innovation

Dubai, October 20 / WAM / The Cybersecurity Council, in cooperation with Amazon Web Services, CrowdStrike, and the &e Group, launched the “AWS/CTIB Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator” program with the aim of promoting innovations in the field of cybersecurity made in the UAE.”
This ambitious, multi-year government program aims to accelerate the growth of more than 500 cybersecurity startups, by giving them exclusive access to regional capital and global technology expertise.
The pioneering program reinforces the vision set by the UAE Cybersecurity Technology Innovation Office (UAE CTIB) in May 2025, which represents an important step towards developing the cybersecurity system in the country and aims, through intensive individual guidance and personal support, to provide startups with technical resources and guidance to develop solutions to emerging global cyber threats.
Participating cybersecurity startups benefit from four main pillars of support: Amazon Web Services’ global leadership in cloud computing, the regulatory framework and government support from the UAE Cybersecurity Council, CrowdStrike’s expertise in cybersecurity, and the market reach and digital innovation of the &e Group across the region.
In this context, His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Government Cybersecurity Council, said: “The AWS/CTIB program to accelerate the growth of startups in the field of cybersecurity represents the cornerstone of the UAE’s national cybersecurity strategy and an essential pillar of our firm commitment to strengthening the country’s leadership in the field of cybersecurity globally.” He added that this program represents a decisive step in strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading center for innovation and supporting the next generation of regional innovation pioneers. He said that this step comes in light of the directives of our wise leadership to strengthen our leadership position on the global digital transformation map, driven by a future vision and ambitious national policies.

The AWS/CTIB Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator Program creates a comprehensive ecosystem that addresses all aspects of startup development in this sector, from technical infrastructure to market entry and financing.
A rigorous selection process will evaluate innovation potential, market attractiveness, quality of team performance, scalability and commitment to entering the UAE market, ensuring that only high-potential startups are selected.
The program revolves around the use of Amazon Web Services’ global cloud infrastructure and its comprehensive suite of security services, which includes more than 200 cloud security tools trusted by millions of customers.
Participating startups will focus on developing solutions that leverage advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to detect threats, supported by AI-powered cybersecurity platforms.
The curriculum will also cover modern security architectures, including cloud-native and zero-trust frameworks, and will incorporate DevSecOps methodologies to ensure secure development practices.
Startups will gain expertise in cutting-edge endpoint protection, cloud workload security, real-time threat intelligence, and identity and access management, to build robust, compliant cybersecurity solutions.
The program supports the UAE’s national cybersecurity strategy and connects startups with a system of government partners, companies and academic institutions.
This initiative strengthens the UAE’s innovation landscape and highlights its position as a pioneer in advanced cybersecurity technologies in the Middle East cybersecurity market, which is expected to reach US$31 billion by 2030.
The first global call for applications will be launched in December 2025 and targets emerging cybersecurity companies within the UAE and around the world.
