المملكة: Updating the citizen’s account data periodically.. What if the beneficiary refuses?

The Citizen’s Account clarified that the beneficiary’s data must be updated periodically, in accordance with Article Seventeen of the controls for the support provided through the program.

The article stipulates: "The applicant or primary beneficiary – as the case may be – must update his electronic account when any change occurs to the information and Data that he had previously entered and that change had an impact on the eligibility and entitlement evaluation cycle, within a period not exceeding (fifteen) days from the date of the change. If he violates this, the Ministry may take any of the measures stipulated in Article (Twenty) of the controls".

Article 20 of the Citizen’s Account Controls stipulates the imposition of penalties on anyone who provides misleading information or fails to disclose essential information to obtain support illegally. Penalties include stopping support for the primary beneficiary, depriving him of support for a period of up to two years, and recovering the support he obtained unlawfully, or applying both.
