"International Federation" Announcing the participation of a group of elite stars in the Abu Dhabi Triple Basket Tour
ABU DHABI, 21st October, 2017 (WAM) – The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced the participation of an elite group of international basketball stars in the 3×3 World Basketball Tour competitions, scheduled to be held on the 25th and 26th of October, near the southern entrance to the Marina Mall in the capital, Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The global tournament will witness the participation of 14 international teams and teams from all over the world, led by the Serbian OBI team led by star Strahinja Stojacic, the Dutch team Amsterdam, which includes golden star Worthy de Jong, next to French Toulouse, led by Olympic star Frank Sigüela, and American Miami, with star Dylan Travis, in addition to Ulaanbaatar from Mongolia, which includes Player Anand Arionbold, one of the most prominent icons of the game in the Asian continent.
Three-way basketball is one of the most growing and widespread sports in the world, due to its ease of practice and its popular nature, especially after its inclusion in the Olympic Games.
