The first session of "The pinnacle of transformation in aviation safety" It launches tomorrow in Dubai

Dubai, October 21 / WAM / The first session of the “Aviation Safety Transformation Summit 2025”, organized by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, will start tomorrow for two days in Dubai.
The Authority said, in a press statement today, that this summit is a new annual international platform concerned with promoting effective dialogue on air safety standards, and it attracts an elite group of sector leaders, regulators, airline representatives, and innovators in the fields of technology, with the aim of anticipating the future of air safety and enhancing the sector’s readiness for the upcoming transformations.
For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Lingawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said that safety standards in the aviation sector are among the fundamental pillars of its sustainable growth, and through the Aviation Safety Transformation Summit, we aim to shed light on the most prominent global trends, challenges and opportunities, and build a safety system capable of responding to the requirements of the future, in line with the vision of the wise leadership of the Emirate of Dubai.
He added that the summit will constitute a strategic platform to showcase valuable visions and experiences shared by a group of international experts and speakers, in addition to developing integrated frameworks for formulating future policies. By continuing to invest in aviation infrastructure, the Authority confirms its commitment to advancing innovation and knowledge, and consolidating Dubai’s position as a global model in the field of air safety.
The summit includes accredited training sessions, keynote interventions, and interactive workshops, in addition to launching pioneering initiatives in the field of aviation safety.
Discussions will focus on pivotal topics, including: strategic safety governance, risk intelligence management and operational resilience, digital safety and emerging technology in aviation.
The summit takes place at a time when the global aviation sector is witnessing rapid growth, with the number of passengers around the world expected to exceed 10 billion in 2025.
Dubai International Airport stands out as one of the prominent evidence of this growth, as it received more than 46 million passengers during the first half of this year.
