Under the leadership of the Crown Prince… “Sharjah Executive” converts loans for 113 families benefiting from housing support into grants

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah held its regular meeting, headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council, on Tuesday morning, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, in the office of His Highness the Ruler.

The meeting discussed various government topics aimed at developing the government work system in the emirate, following up on the performance of departments and bodies, and reviewing the progress of development projects in all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The Council approved exempting a number of housing support beneficiaries and transferring the decisions issued to them from the loan category to the grant category, after they fulfilled the conditions required for eligibility, amounting to 113 families, according to the executive regulations of the Housing Department.

This accreditation comes within the framework of the humanitarian approach adopted by the Emirate of Sharjah, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at supporting citizens, alleviating the burdens on them, and ensuring that they enjoy a dignified and stable life, enhancing their role in serving their families and society.

The Council adopted the guideline for legislative drafting in the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to unify methodologies, enhance the quality of legislative texts, and ensure their consistency with applicable legal frameworks.

The guide addresses best practices and technical directives that help government agencies related to legislation and regulation in preparing or reviewing draft laws and regulations, in addition to keeping pace with technical development through the automation of legislation.

The structure of the legislation consists of the title of the preamble of the legislation, the introduction to the legislation, the general plan of the legislation, the final provisions, and the body of the legislation, in addition to the general controls in legislative drafting, elements of legislative drafting, sources, and references.

The Council discussed the public parking system in the Emirate of Sharjah, which aims to highlight the role of those working on it in the process of organizing private investment parks and squares and using them optimally, which constitutes an addition to the investment and economic aspect in the emirate, in addition to the works and projects implemented, developing the digital system, and organizing random dirt squares.

The report discussed the launch of smart parking lots, the unification of the public parking system in all cities of the emirate, and future projects related to parking, such as identifying vital commercial areas, constructing multi-storey parking buildings, developing the management of government and private parks, and their effects on developing financial, community, security and economic resources.
