“Muslim Elders” strongly condemns the sabotage terrorist plan that targeted the State of Kuwait

The Muslim Council of Elders condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist sabotage plan that targeted the State of Kuwait, expressing its full solidarity with it and its support for all the measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, maintain its security and stability, and ensure the safety of citizens and residents on its lands.

In a statement issued today, the Council affirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of extremism, terrorism, and criminal plans that aim to destabilize the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states and the Arab states, intimidate the peaceful, and undermine societal peace.

The Council also praised the efficiency and vigilance of the relevant agencies in the State of Kuwait, and their success in controlling a terrorist cell affiliated with the Hezbollah organization that was planning to destabilize security and stability and recruit elements for the organization.

The Council reaffirmed that confronting terrorism and extremism is a collective responsibility that requires strengthening cooperation and solidarity in order to protect homelands, preserve the capabilities of peoples, and consolidate the values ​​of security, peace, coexistence and stability.
