US crude, gasoline and distillate inventories decline


US inventories fell from Crude oil, gasoline, and distillates over the past week.

The Energy Information Administration reported that stocks of Crude oildecreased (961) thousand barrels to (422.8) million barrels on October 17, and crude oil inventories at the delivery center in "Cushing" In the state "Oklahoma" (770) thousand barrels.

Crude consumption at refineries increased (600) thousand barrels per day, and refinery operating rates rose (2.9%) to (88.6%).

Gasoline inventories decreased

While US gasoline inventories decreased (2.1) million barrels during the past week to (216.7), and gasoline inventories also decreased. Distillate products, which include diesel and heating oil, rose (1.5) million barrels per week to (115.6) million barrels, compared to expectations for a decrease of (1.9) million barrels.

The Energy Information Administration indicated that net United States imports of crude oil increased last week (656) thousand barrels per day.
