A killer goal gives Al Wasl its third victory in “Asia 2”

Adama Diallo scored a goal in time to lead Al-Wasl to victory over Al-Muharraq of Bahrain with a goal without a response, in the third round of the first group matches of the AFC Champions League 2, so that the “Emperor” achieved its third victory in the competition and raised its score to nine points at the top of the group, while Al-Muharraq’s score stopped at six points in second place.

Al-Wasl played with a squad that included a large number of substitute players who did not participate continuously in the past matches, most notably Gabriel Farretta, Rodrigo Oliveira, Malek Janair and Tahnoon Al-Zaabi.

As for the second half, Portuguese coach Luis Castro made two substitutions in the 64th minute, with Siaka Sidibe replacing Matthews Saldana and Adama Dialho replacing Sergio Pereira, then three more substitutions, with Ali Saleh, Salem Al-Azizi, and Nicholas Jimenez replacing Tahnoon Al-Zaabi, Brian Palacios, and Rodrigo Oliveira in the 74th minute.

Jimenez almost scored the first goal immediately after his first touch when he shot a direct free kick, but the ball went over the crossbar (75).

In the 88th minute, substitute Adama Diallo scored the first goal after receiving a wonderful pass from Serginho, and Diallo finished it with a powerful shot into the goal, ending the match with Al Wasl’s victory.
