The goal of “Al-Abyad” is to reach the furthest point in the Arab Cup

The national football team’s goalkeeper, Hamad Al-Muqbali, said that the most important thing in football is winning matches, noting that their goal as players in the last stage was clear, which was to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup in Doha.
He stressed that the players did not fall short, but rather performed their role to the fullest extent, stressing that the goal now is to reach the furthest possible point in the tournament, despite the difficulty of the current stage, which requires greater effort than was made in the past and for the players to live up to their aspirations.
Al-Muqbali added during the introductory press conference for the match: “Our focus is on the upcoming match against Algeria, and we are confident in our abilities as players, especially since the team finished a difficult stage, and Cosmin gave us the motivation to be better next time. The players and technical staff did not fall short, and we were able to pass the group stage.”
Al-Muqbali explained that “the degree of harmony between the team’s players is increasing day after day, and that what comes next will be better, God willing.”
Hamad Al-Muqbali praised the great role played by the technical staff, led by Romanian coach Olario Cosmin, as well as the efforts of all the players in reaching this stage of the tournament.
