Dubai will host the Federation Cup for Falcon Racing tomorrow

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, President of the International Federation for Falconry Sports and Racing, and President of the Emirates Falcons Federation, the Federation Cup for Falcon Racing “Talwah” category – chick, organized by the Emirates Falcons Federation, will start from tomorrow until December 20, in Dubai, with a total of 19 rounds, including three rounds for cups in four diverse categories: Pure Gear, Gear Shaheen, Qarmousha and Jire Taba include the rounds of sheikhs, public open, and public owners.

The cup is being held, for the fourth year, to consolidate the Emirati heritage and enhance national identity, and to constantly strive to celebrate the important falconry championships that are held within the framework of the country’s celebrations of National Day, in which the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its wise leadership are evident, which is what the International Federation of Falcon Sports and Racing is always keen on in all its championships.

The Cup aims to establish a national platform for competition, and to host various rounds that bring together elite falconers to demonstrate the best technical practices and raise the specifications of local championships, in addition to enhancing the concept of professionalism by adopting advanced racing systems that work to raise the level of professionalism among participants and organizers.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the International Federation for Falconry Sports and Racing and the Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconry Federation, Rashid bin Markhan, confirmed that the Federation Cup Championship has successfully secured its place among the strongest sporting events related to falconry racing in light of the sound vision and continuous interest of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the follow-up of Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice President of the International Federation for Falconry Sports and Racing. Vice President of the Emirates Falcons Federation, in order to enhance its level, and to ensure its outputs, which increase significantly year after year, achieving the best results in terms of participation and technical and organizational performance.

Bin Markhan pointed out that the stages of work of the Federation Cup Championship have become an advanced documentary reference, due to the rich ideas and proposals it witnesses from all the concerned committees that set their sights on providing the best in each edition, and searching for ways to ensure the sustainability of this event in its best form and ensuring the achievement of its desired goals.

The Emirates Falcon Racing Federation Cup was launched for the first time in 2022, and is the main tournament of the Emirates Falcons Federation, which it organizes annually in the month of December of each year. The chick category represents the age group of participating falcons, and cash prizes are allocated to the winners of the first ten places in each round (qualifying rounds), and cash prizes are allocated to the winners of the first three places in each round (cup rounds).
