The Governor of Giza at the site of the gas pipe accident in the Imbaba estate

Engineer Adel Al-Najjar, Governor of Giza, inspected the site of a gas pipe explosion accident inside a property consisting of a ground floor and 4 floors on a street Saad Zaghloul in the Imbaba neighborhood, which resulted in the collapse of the third and fourth floors above the ground and injuries to citizens. They were immediately transported by ambulance to Tahrir Hospital to receive the necessary medical care.
This came in the presence of Major General Mohamed Magdy Abu Shumaila, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Giza Security Sector, Mohamed Marei, Assistant Secretary-General, and the leaders of the security and civil protection services.
The governor confirmed that immediately The Governorate Operations Room received a report of the incident, and the executive agencies moved immediately, accompanied by the Committee for Facilities at Risk of Collapse, and the property and neighboring properties were completely evacuated and the necessary precautions and measures were taken to preserve the security and safety of the residents, until the completion of a comprehensive structural examination of the condition of the property and neighboring properties. The necessary technical measures are being taken before restarting.
During his field presence, the governor was assured by the competent engineering committee of the initial inspection report, which recommended the necessity of reducing the loads and carrying out structural strengthening works for the damaged property to ensure public safety.
The governor directed the Health Affairs Directorate to provide all aspects of medical care for the injured until complete recovery, stressing continuous follow-up of the accident site until all are completed. Technical and security measures.
The governor reassured the citizens during his presence at the site of the accident, stressing that all relevant agencies are working to their full potential to contain the situation, and that the safety of the people is a top priority, with continued field follow-up until any potential danger is removed.
