Leonardo da Vinci’s glow
“This phenomenon was known historically as Leonardo da Vinci’s glow, after the Italian scientist who was one of the first to describe it scientifically in the sixteenth century, and it can be seen with the naked eye or more clearly through a binocular in the first nights of the lunar month.”

Monitoring distant objects
Abu Zahra added that the absence of the bright moon early in the next few days will provide the best astronomical conditions for observing distant objects such as galaxies. And star clusters, where the sky appears darker and clearer, giving amateurs and those interested in astronomy a unique opportunity for photography and monitoring.
He concluded his statement by inviting the public to contemplate the beauty of the crescent and the greatness of the cosmic order, saying: “Let us seize the moment of contemplating the crescent to remember the beauty of creation and the precision of the heavenly order, and let us make its light a source of inspiration and hope for a bright future with goodness and blessings.”".
