Israel will lose Washington’s support if it annexes the West Bank

US President Donald Trump warned Israel that it would lose US support if it annexed the West Bank, in an interview with Time magazine.

In response to a question about what would happen if Israel annexed the West Bank it occupies, Trump said: “That will not happen. It will not happen because I made a promise to the Arab countries. This cannot be done now,” warning that “Israel will lose all its support from the United States if that happens.”
