The Gulf Cooperation Council and Italy discuss enhancing cooperation and regional developments
RIYADH, October 26 / WAM / The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the Republic of Italy discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation relations, and reviewed joint cooperation opportunities in various vital sectors, in a way that achieves the common interests of both sides.
The meeting between His Excellency Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and Roberto Staurasi, the diplomatic advisor to the Prime Minister of Italy, today at the General Secretariat headquarters in Riyadh, focused on the mechanisms for activating this cooperation through the joint work program between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union for the period (2022-2028).
The two sides exchanged views on the latest developments on the regional and international arenas and issues of common interest.
