المملكة: 1.8 million in Sharqia… 14 million beneficiaries of health insurance services


Declare is the number of beneficiaries of reached 14 million beneficiaries during the third quarter of 2025.

Mandatory health insurance document

The number of basic subscribers to the mandatory health insurance document reached (10) million beneficiaries, while the number of dependents reached (4 million) beneficiaries, including (4.5) million Saudi beneficiaries and (9.5) million non-Saudi beneficiaries.

This reflects the Council’s commitment to implementing its strategy as a leading regulatory body in enabling beneficiary-centered health care services based on quality and efficiency, and in a way that contributes to strengthening the commitment to raising insurance coverage rates to achieve a sustainable healthy society.

The official spokeswoman for the Health Insurance Council, Iman Al-Tariqi, confirmed that the growth in the number of Health insurance beneficiaries are a reflection of the Council’s programs and initiatives.

It aims to facilitate beneficiaries’ access to high-quality and efficient health services, and to empower health care service providers and employers within a system characterized by transparency and innovation.

Health insurance initiatives in Saudi Arabia

Al-Tariqi added: "The Council works continuously and continuously to implement many qualitative initiatives and programs that contribute to improving the experience of health insurance beneficiaries and enhance commitment and compliance in the sector, which has been clearly reflected in the increase in the number of beneficiaries."

She indicated that the Council continues its efforts to achieve health care based on quality and efficiency, and to enable employers to develop their capabilities.

This is in addition to supporting innovation and adopting modern smart solutions, raising the level of data governance and quality, and enhancing its sharing, in order to achieve a tangible positive impact on the health of beneficiaries.
