The Red Crescent distributes food aid to needy families in Yemeni governorates

The Emirates Red Crescent Authority continued to implement its humanitarian and relief programs in the Yemeni governorates, by distributing integrated food baskets to needy families in various districts, as part of its continuing efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens and improve their living conditions.

The initiative comes within the framework of the pioneering humanitarian role undertaken by the UAE through its humanitarian arm, the Emirates Red Crescent, to provide support and assistance to our brothers in the Yemeni governorates.

The aid contained basic food items that meet the daily needs of families, and it contributed to bringing joy to the hearts of the people, who expressed their thanks and appreciation to the leadership, government and people of the UAE for its fraternal stances and constant standing by their side in various circumstances.

The Authority confirmed that this campaign is an extension of the humanitarian efforts it is implementing in the Yemeni governorates as part of an integrated plan aimed at enhancing food security and improving the living conditions of the most needy families throughout Yemeni regions.

These initiatives embody the UAE’s established approach to promoting the values ​​of humanitarian giving and providing a helping hand to everyone in need, reflecting the authenticity of the UAE’s humanitarian work extending inside and outside Yemen.
