Expo City Dubai is a global platform for dialogue about the future of smart cities

Dubai, October 27 / WAM / Fatima Alawi, representative of the Government Relations Department at Expo City Dubai, said that the Asia-Pacific Cities Summit and the 2025 Mayors Forum, currently being held in Expo City in Dubai, is witnessing broad participation from mayors and deputy mayors of cities from around the world, as they meet in Dubai to discuss ways to develop future cities in several areas including economic prosperity, technology, education, health and infrastructure. Infrastructure.

Alawi explained to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the event also witnesses the participation of more than 170 international cities and 25 government agencies and national companies, all of which seek to exchange experiences and review best practices in managing and developing cities, as the forum is a unique platform for exchanging experiences during which participants learn about Dubai’s experience in building its success story and how it was able to enhance community communication and provide an environment supportive of innovation and sustainability.

She pointed out that the Dubai Youth Retreat was organized as part of the Forum this year in cooperation with the Dubai Youth Council of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, for the first time in an international edition, which gives Emirati youth the opportunity to interact with their counterparts from various countries of the world and exchange ideas about the future of cities.
