المملكة: A qualitative health leap.. Saudi Arabia launches the first diabetes command and control center in the world
Launch Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Holding Company, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, today announced the Diabetes Command and Control Center as the first center of its kind in the world that enables tracking health indicators for Diabetics electronically and proactively.
during the first day of World Health Forum 2025in its eighth edition, held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Mulham, north of the capital, Riyadh.
Seha Holding explained that the center is a qualitative leap in the follow-up of diabetic patients, as it allows monitoring of vital indicators in all regions of the Kingdom, which contributes to early intervention and the provision of immediate medical support, through an integrated digital system that contributes to Improving the quality of life and enhancing preventive care.
Health care tools
She stressed that the launch of the center embodies the Kingdom’s commitment to developing preventive health care tools within the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, through innovative digital solutions that enhance the management of chronic conditions efficiently and reassuringly, and contribute to reducing health complications associated with diabetes, noting that the center comes Within the Saudi health care model that puts people at the center of attention and focuses on prevention before treatment.
The center is one of the most prominent outcomes of digital transformation in the health sector, as it allows direct communication between the doctor and the beneficiary, and contributes to facilitating access to the service, reducing complications, and improving the comprehensive health response.
It is noteworthy that the Seha Holding Company is a national company. Comprehensive and integrated health care is provided through 20 health clusters in various regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of achieving a transformation in the way health services are provided, and enhancing the quality of care and ease of access to it, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
