Imprisonment and a fine are the penalty for painting or tampering with public property

The Roads and Transport Authority published, through its official channel, an awareness alert in which it stressed the importance of preserving public property, stressing that public safety represents a top priority in the emirate.
The Authority explained that drawing or tampering with roads, buildings and other public property in any way is a clear violation of the regulations and laws, due to the direct damage it causes, in addition to the danger it poses to the safety of road users and residents and visitors of Dubai.

She stressed that such actions may expose their perpetrators to legal accountability, noting that penalties may reach imprisonment and a fine, as part of its keenness to protect public facilities and ensure a safe and sustainable environment for all.
