" Khalifa Educational "Candidates’ works will continue to be accepted until December 31

ABU DHABI, 28 October / WAM / The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award, one of the institutions of the “Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation”, confirmed that excellence represents one of the basic pillars of the strategy for developing the education system, both university and pre-university, noting that the nineteenth session 2025-2026 of the award presents 10 areas distributed over 17 categories, all of which aim to consolidate the spread of the culture of excellence in the educational field with various elements of The student, the teacher, the school administration, the distinguished family, as well as the parties related to educational affairs, all within a comprehensive societal framework that elevates the culture of excellence, innovation, creativity, and the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to improve an education system that keeps pace with the times and anticipates the future.

She added that accepting applications for candidates through the website continues until December 31, 2025, noting that the names of the winners of the award in its current session will be announced during the month of next April, during the honoring ceremony held next May, in accordance with the time plan for the current session.

For his part, Hamid Al-Hooti, ​​Secretary-General of the Khalifa Educational Award, said that artificial intelligence represents one of the prominent standards for measuring excellence in the current session, pointing out that the indicators for accepting nominated works and the standards and controls for the fields presented and the categories emerging from them are based on a comprehensive concept of employing artificial intelligence in the learning environment with all the elements its tools contain related to imagination, creativity and innovation and enhancing the student’s horizon. Towards anticipating tomorrow and keeping pace with the rapid growth witnessed in scientific development in all scientific and technical disciplines.

He explained that the current session presents ten fields distributed in 17 categories, including “the legal educational personality that is granted to personalities who have made outstanding contributions to the educational process at the local and Arab levels,” the field of general education “the creative teacher category locally and Arably, and the institutional educational performance category,” the field of education and community service “the institutions category, the distinguished Emirati families category,” and the People of Determination “category.” Individuals, institutions and centers category”, the field of creativity in teaching the Arabic language “distinguished teacher category”, the distinguished university professor category locally and Arab”, the field of higher education “distinguished university professor category”, the field of educational research “educational research category”, the field of educational writing for children “educational innovations category”, the children’s literature studies research category”, and the field of educational projects and programs. “The category of individuals, the category of institutions, and the category of students.”

He stressed the importance of the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Education, which the award presents as one of the prominent national initiatives to shed light on the best practices in early childhood care. It includes two categories: the category of research and studies, and the category of programmes, curricula, methodologies and teaching methods. This field, which was presented at the world level, receives great interest from various international organizations specialized in early childhood care, as well as from relevant universities and research centres. It is supervised by a donor committee that includes a number of experts and specialists in early childhood education around the world.

He also stressed the award’s interest in providing an advanced electronic system to receive candidates’ files and deal with them in the various stages of screening, judging and evaluation through specialized scientific committees, in addition to providing technical support to candidates at all local, Arab and international levels around the clock in a way that saves time and effort and ensures quality performance.
