National Bank of Bahrain launches an innovative interactive campaign for credit card holders

The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) announced the launch of a unique campaign for MasterCard credit card holders, allowing them to participate in simple challenges through the Points by NBB application, and increase their chances of winning a luxury Cadillac Optic electric car (OPTIQ EV).
The campaign aims to make the experience of using the card more enjoyable and interactive, as customers can collect points and enter into draws, when they use their cards to spend their daily purchases. The campaign has been launched since the beginning of October 2025 and will continue until January 31, 2026, so that National Bank of Bahrain cardholders can choose a challenge through the Points by NBB application, and use the MasterCard card to spend in three categories.
Customers can participate in various challenges within the app, with each challenge offering different chances to win. The more often the card is used, the higher the chances of obtaining raffle tickets and entering prize draws. Progress in each challenge can also be easily tracked via the Points by NBB app, making the participation experience clearer and more interactive.
In addition to the category-based challenges, customers can also increase their chances of winning by redeeming 500 Base Points for an additional raffle ticket from the “Challenges” section on the Points by NBB app. Note that the final draw for the grand prize will take place on March 25, 2026.

The more often the card is used to spend daily purchases, the higher the chances of winning valuable prizes. This initiative represents a strategic push from the National Bank of Bahrain to accelerate digital engagement and align financial incentives with broader sustainability goals. By awarding a fully electric car as a grand prize, the bank confirms its commitment to environmental responsibility, within the framework of its strategy for environmental, social and institutional sustainability, and its approved approach to promoting sustainable financing.
