Abu Dhabi University showcases the innovations of its students in a program "Adibek guys"

ABU DHABI, 30 October / WAM / Abu Dhabi University is participating in the “Youth ADIPEC” program, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), which will be held from 3 to 6 November at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi, as the academic partner of the program.
This participation is consistent with the university’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the role of youth, supporting sustainability, preparing future innovators to lead the global transformation in the energy sector and enhancing the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation and sustainability.
Under the umbrella of “Abu Dhabi University Innovates,” the University’s College of Engineering intends to showcase a group of pioneering student projects that reflect the students’ creativity and ingenuity, in addition to their keenness to find effective solutions to major challenges in the areas of sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental preservation.
More than 30 students from the College of Engineering are participating in the “ADIPEC Youth” program this year, where they are gaining practical experiences and supporting activities that reflect the university’s commitment to enhancing its role in community service.
Dr. Hamdi Shaibani, Dean of the College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University, said that the university participates as an academic partner for the ‘ADIPEC Youth’ programme, an initiative that is consistent with the university’s mission to empower and inspire young people, noting that the university seeks, through platforms, to connect the academic community with industry and enhance the role of innovators who will contribute to the UAE’s transformation towards a sustainable, knowledge-based economy.
