Mohammed Al Sharqi opens the headquarters of the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra and stresses the importance of music as a common human value
FUJAIRAH, 30th October, 2017 (WAM) – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of music as a shared human value, a single global voice, and its role in enhancing communication between the peoples and cultures of the world.
This came during the opening of His Highness, the headquarters of the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra in the Spectrum Business Center in Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Body Building and Fitness Federation.
His Highness noted the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, for the culture and arts sector, and the projects that contribute to developing the field of creative industries at the level of the Emirate of Fujairah and the country.
Salem Al Falahi, Director of the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra, said in his opening speech that the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, to launch the orchestra and open the headquarters constitutes a major step for the music and arts sector in the emirate, and enhances its presence and status as an attractive center for art in all its forms, and a great impetus for advancing the field of music at the level of the Arab region and the world.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah witnessed the opening program of the headquarters, which included musical performances presented by the orchestra’s faculty members as well as the students.
The opening was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a number of directors and officials in the cultural sector in Fujairah.
