المملكة: Urgent – Bangladesh leads and Egypt ranks fifth…812 thousand work visas in the Kingdom within 3 months


A recent report issued by the Ministry of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the issuance of 812,572 work visas during the third quarter of 2025 AD, at a rate of 9,028 work visas per day, through the Kingdom’s diplomatic missions around the world, in a step that reflects the development momentum that the country is witnessing and its continuation of attracting competencies and skilled workers to support its giant projects.

According to the report, the Kingdom’s mission in Dhaka “Bangladesh” topped the list of the most Missions issue a Work visasWith a total of 203,877 visas, followed by the Mumbai Mission “India” with 93,839 visas, then Karachi “Pakistan” with 88,273 visas.

Then came the Addis Ababa Mission “Ethiopia” with 75,025 visas, and Cairo “Egypt” with 73,247 visas, Aden (Yemen) with 53,826 visas, while Manila (Philippines) recorded 46,473 visas, Islamabad (Pakistan) 38,509 visas, Kampala (Uganda) 19,455 visas, and New Delhi (India) 16,970 visas.

Diversifying workforce sources

At the country level, Bangladesh came in the lead with a total of 203,877 work visas, followed by Pakistan with 126,782 visas, then India with 110,809 visas, Egypt with 92,954 visas, and Ethiopia with 75,025 visas.

Yemen ranked sixth with 55,880 visas, followed by the Philippines with 46,473 visas, Uganda with 19,455 visas, Nepal with 15,300 visas, and Kenya with 14,056 visas.

The report reflected the Kingdom’s efforts to diversify the sources of the workforce and expand its partnerships with Asian and African countries, in line with the needs of vital sectors in the national economy.

This step comes in response to the requirements of major development projects, within Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance productive sustainability and raise the efficiency of the labor market by attracting specialized expertise and skilled workers.
