A variety of activities within the Arts and Literature Season of the Quarter Qarn Foundation

Sharjah, 1st November / WAM / The Arts and Literature Season of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators is full of a range of literary and artistic activities that express the energies and creativity of members of the institutions affiliated with “Ru’u’ Qarn” from different age groups.

The second edition of the season is being held amidst a large audience and lovers of culture and art who flocked to Aljada, Khor Fakkan Library and a number of sites in the Emirate of Sharjah to enjoy the events.

The season comes as part of the Foundation’s efforts to provide inspiring platforms and interactive spaces that celebrate the talents of children and young people and allow them to express their passion and creativity in the fields of literature, art, music, theatre, plastic arts and cinema within the framework of its strategic vision “A community partner in building and empowering conscious and influential generations” and enhancing communication between them and the community to introduce the programs and activities offered by the Quarter Century Foundations that contribute to developing and refining the skills of future leaders in various fields of creativity and knowledge.

The literature and languages ​​activities witnessed a remarkable presence with the participation of employees of the quarter-century institutions, who presented various literary and theatrical performances that included poetry readings and participation in challenging popular proverbs, in addition to theatrical performances that embodied their vast imagination and ability to employ the word in a creative artistic performance.

Visitors enjoyed distinctive interactive activities, such as the storyteller’s corner, which presented story sessions in a style that combines performance and imagination to develop narration skills, while the book tour corner gave the public the opportunity to browse a selection of books and share their opinions about them in short video interviews.

The Reader of the Century platform corner presented an innovative digital experience that allows participants to explore the world of reading in modern and interactive ways by learning about the characteristics of the platform that stimulates continuous reading and documents the achievements of readers within a creative knowledge society, while the “Story in a Bottle” project received widespread interaction because of its innovative idea that brings together literature in an experience that blended literary creativity with digital innovation.

In addition to the literary events, the season celebrated the plastic arts through the art exhibition “Worlds of Arts between Craft and Imagination,” while the photo exhibition included digital works from the “Parallel World Lens” and “AI Imagination” programs, where participants transformed stories into paintings and digital book covers.

Members of the Quarter Qarn Music Center presented musical performances that demonstrated their skills in individual and group playing of the most famous Arab and international pieces.
