Preparations for the Hajj season

According to the announced timetable, the Preparatory contracts on Rabi’ al-Awwal 1, 1447 AH, when contracts for housing and basic services will be opened, while the Ministry has set Rabi’ al-Thani 20, 1447 AH, corresponding to October 12, 2025, as a final date for concluding the preparatory meetings, completing operational data, and announcing registration for pilgrims in their countries.

The timetable indicated that the month of Jumada al-Awwal will witness the signing of the main agreements and the inauguration of an exhibition. Hajj services, in a way that enhances partnerships between government agencies and the private sector, and supports the development of services provided to pilgrims.

Accommodation preparations for the guests of God

As the year 2026 enters, the pace of preparations accelerates, as in January 2026, housing contracts in Mecca and Medina will be completed, in addition to transportation services and the holy sites, while the actual phase of issuing Hajj visas begins on February 8, 2026, followed in March by the completion of the issuance of Hajj visas. The Ministry added that the first pilgrims will begin arriving in the Kingdom’s lands starting from Dhul-Qi’dah 1, 1447 AH, corresponding to April 18, 2026, marking the entry into the final operational phase of the season, stressing the importance of the Pilgrimage Affairs offices and relevant authorities adhering to the specified dates to ensure the readiness of services and infrastructure before the arrival of the guests of God.
