المملكة: The GCC countries reaffirm their support for security and stability in Yemen
He met with His Excellency the Secretary General of Professor , in Manama today, the Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Dr. Shaye Mohsen Al-Zindani.
This came on the sidelines of His Excellency’s participation in the 21st session of the Manama Dialogue, and during the meeting, the latest developments and situations on the Yemeni scene were reviewed.
Gulf support for Yemen
His Excellency the Secretary-General stressed that the GCC countries stand side by side with , so that Yemen can restore its security and stability and put it on the path of sustainable development, ensuring that its brotherly people live in dignity, peace and security.
His Excellency also reaffirmed the support of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for the efforts made by the Presidential Leadership Council to enhance security and stability in the country, and the commitment of the Cooperation Council to support all international and regional efforts, including the efforts of the United Nations.
In order to reach a comprehensive political solution that ends , according to the three references: the Gulf Initiative and its implementation mechanism, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue, and Security Council Resolution 2216.
