A 400 dirham fine for concealing vehicle plate information

Abu Dhabi Police warned drivers against hiding the data on their vehicle plates in any way, such as loading bicycles or other items for which it is not possible to monitor the plate numbers, or distinguish the category and source.

Abu Dhabi Police indicated, via X, that Article No. 27 of the Federal Traffic Law stipulates the imposition of a fine of 400 dirhams on anyone who commits acts that conceal vehicle plate numbers, stressing its keenness to intensify traffic control and take legal measures against vehicles that do not comply with clarifying their plate numbers in accordance with the law.
