It is 59 dirhams.. Tesla imposes a monthly subscription on its vehicle owners in the Emirates to use specific features

Tesla has informed the owners of its cars in many countries of the world, including the UAE, that it has activated a monthly subscription in the country and a number of countries around the world, which will begin next September and will cost 59 dirhams in the country.
Tesla required subscription to use services: live traffic view, satellite maps, video and music streaming, Internet browser, karaoke, and remote viewing of Sentry Mode cameras.
Tesla had imposed a monthly subscription of 419 dirhams to use the self-driving feature.
Activist Issa Amin asked: “If you buy a car for hundreds of thousands of dirhams… would you accept to pay a monthly subscription to get some of its benefits? And will Tesla be just the beginning, especially with the industry moving towards connected cars and digital services that are constantly updated, and has Tesla turned into a model like Netflix and Spotify?”
Activist Khaled Al-Shibli was surprised by the subscription, saying: “Today’s news tells you that Tesla is starting to convert some of the car’s features into a monthly subscription. The Premium Connectivity subscription has begun to appear to some owners at a price of 59 dirhams per month. Next time, they tell you that the car will not move if you do not verify your account with (X).”
Activist Muhammad Obaid Al-Faqir said: “What is noteworthy is that the benefits that were previously linked to the car experience itself have now become a separate monthly service, and with the expansion of subscriptions in cars, the question is: Is 59 dirhams a month a reasonable price for these benefits, or has the car become like a phone… everything in it is with a subscription? The rest of the car’s air conditioning is with a subscription.”
