Khawla Al Suwaidi: Flag Day embodies pride in a country that has become an inspiring model of challenge and achievement
ABU DHABI, 3rd November, 2018 (WAM) – Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, National Security Advisor, and President of Khawla for Arts and Culture, confirmed that raising the state flag throughout the country is a very meaningful message, reflecting the depth of the values of belonging, loyalty and national cohesion.
In her speech on this occasion, Her Highness stressed that the UAE flag is a symbol of our dignity and pride, and a symbol of the glory and elevation of the nation, and it reflects with its magnificence the achievements of our founding fathers who believed in the idea of the union and laid the foundation for building a civilized state and embarking on the path of progress and leadership.
She explained that this march is increasing in momentum and strength year after year, with the vision and wisdom of our wise leadership, which carried the banner of pride and magnificence with all confidence and honesty, and made the most precious sacrifices for the upliftment of the nation, so that the banner of our state and the symbol of our unity remains high and proud among nations, reflecting its global status as a model of development and construction.
Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi said: “We congratulate our wise leadership on this National Day, in which the values of patriotism, the spirit of the union, and its lofty principles are deepened, and in which feelings of pride and pride in our identity and belonging to our homeland are elevated, which has become an inspiring model of challenge and achievement, and limitless ambition, determination, will, and determination for excellence, creativity, and achievement.”
