Saudi Arabia enriches global cultural dialogue with qualitative participation in… "Sharjah Book"

Sharjah, November 3 / WAM / The Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority is participating in the 44th edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair, which is being held from November 5 to 16 at the Expo Center Sharjah, through a cultural presence that reflects the qualitative development witnessed by the Saudi cultural sector and its openness to the world.

The Authority is leading this participation through an integrated wing that includes a number of national and cultural institutions, including the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, King Abdulaziz University, King Fahd National Library, King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language, University of Hafr Al-Batin, Saudi Monetary Laboratory, Arab Observatory for Translation, and the Publishing Society. This institutional diversity reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s keenness to extend bridges of cultural communication with the world and expand horizons. Dialogue and knowledge exchange.

This participation comes as an extension of the Authority’s efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s presence in international cultural forums, by supporting national publishing houses and enabling them to build strategic partnerships, and highlighting Saudi literary and knowledge production in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which places culture at the heart of civilizational communication with the world.

It is noteworthy that the Kingdom’s participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025 is the thirteenth participation this year in international book fairs led by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, through which the Authority presented qualitative models that contributed to enhancing awareness of the Saudi cultural heritage globally, and consolidated the image of Saudi literature as a bridge for dialogue and communication with other civilizations.
