Confirmed Riyadh Municipality “Digital infrastructure maps” allow exploring Road development projects in Riyadh, and provides an accurate presentation of the implementation sites and the project start and end dates, in addition to the implementing service entity.
The Infrastructure projects in the Riyadh region has announced the launch of a digital interactive map that enables users to view the details of infrastructure work projects in the city of Riyadh and the region’s governorates, which contributes to enhancing transparency, raising the quality of project implementation, and improving the urban landscape in the capital.
The map allows users to browse detailed information for more than 285,000 licenses for infrastructure projects in the city and its governorates, including the water, electricity, communications, and road sectors, as it displays the type of project, the implementing agency, and start dates. The map data showed that water and electricity projects represent more than 70% of the total infrastructure project licenses in the city of Riyadh, which confirms the extent of the efforts made in organizing the licensing process and ensuring integration in their implementation. Reducing field conflicts and achieving the highest levels of coordination in the implementation stages, which supports spending efficiency and preserves the urban fabric of the city.
Improving the urban landscape
The map also provides the “submit reports” feature, which enables residents to monitor observations and contribute to improving the urban landscape by submitting reports directly from the geographical location within the map, which contributes to the speed of processing and enhances the community’s role as an active partner in developing the city.
This map comes within a series of specific projects adopted by the Infrastructure Center Infrastructure in the Riyadh region, which aims to develop planning and follow-up tools, achieve sustainability in development projects, and raise the quality of life for residents.
