المملكة: “Vaccination at your place.” Mobile medical teams roam Nairyah to provide the influenza vaccine

NairiyaGeneral Implementation of the national vaccination campaign against Seasonal influenzavaccination is provided to citizens and residents directly where they are, in a unique step aimed at facilitating access to the service.
The field tours of these teams include visits to government departments, educational institutions, and public parks, in addition to a number of vital sites in the governorate, to ensure coverage of the largest possible segment.
Getting the vaccine
The director of integrated health services in Nairyah Governorate, Abdulaziz Al-Anzi, explained that this field campaign aims to reach To the target groups and facilitate their access to the vaccine without difficulty.
He stressed that these efforts come as part of the efforts of the Al-Sharqiya Health Cluster to enhance community prevention and limit the spread of seasonal diseases.
Safe and free
Al-Enezi indicated that the vaccine is “safe and free” and available to all members of society, with a special focus on the groups most vulnerable to complications. These groups include the elderly, people with chronic diseases, pregnant women, children, and people with disabilities, in addition to workers in the health sector.
He stressed the importance of taking the initiative to take the vaccine to prevent serious influenza complications and contribute to strengthening community immunity.
Active participation
The campaign witnessed active participation from the health volunteer team in Nairyah Governorate, where volunteers contributed to organizing field vaccination sites and providing health awareness to visitors about The importance of prevention and taking the vaccine at the appropriate time.
The Governor of Nairyah, Abdullah Al-Baqawi, officially launched the campaign in the governorate. This initiative falls within the efforts of the Ministry of Healthto raise the coverage rate of seasonal vaccinations and protect society from respiratory diseases, in line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 towards building a healthy and safe society.
