Philippines: 156,000 people evacuated as Hurricane Kalmagi approaches

The authorities in Hurricane Winds reach speeds of up to 140 kilometers per hour, according to the National Weather Service.
Deputy Director of the Office of Civil Defense, Rafaelito Alejandro, said that evacuations had taken place for up to 156,000 people as a precaution.
He added that the storm is expected to make landfall after midnight, Philippine time.
