The Red Sea Festival offers special screenings of my film "A path" and"Hind Rajab’s voice"

The Red Sea International Film Festival revealed today, during its press conference, the presentation of special screenings of two prominent cinematic works from Spain and Tunisia, each of which was chosen for its profound impact on the global cinema scene in 2025. The film “Sirat” will be screened in 2025. Directed by Oliver Lax, and the film “The Voice of Hind Rajab” Directed by director Kawthar Ben Haniyeh, in their first performances in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, within the activities of the fifth session of the festival scheduled to be held from December 4 to 13 in the country’s historic Jeddah.
Tunisian director Kawthar Ben Haniyeh presents in her film “The Voice of Hind Rajab” A highly influential humanitarian work, in which it combines documentary and drama in an innovative visual style, to re-image the last hours of the life of the six-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab in Gaza. Through this blend of reality and drama, Ben Hania raises a global cry for justice, and calls on viewers to confront the terrible human cost of war and the indelible pain it leaves behind.
As for the joint Spanish-French film “Sirat” Directed by Oliver Lax, winner of the Jury Prize at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and Oscar nominee for Spain; It presents a captivating visual experience that combines sound and image in an epic journey filled with contemplation and amazement.
The film follows the story of a father who accompanies his son in an arduous search for his missing daughter amidst the world of raucous parties in Morocco, where truth and legend blend in dreamy scenes brimming with poetry, and diving into the depths of loss and hope. And salvation.

The movie "The Voice of Hind Rajab" It is a hybrid work that skillfully blends documentary and drama, telling the painful story of a six-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed during the Israeli war on Gaza.
In January 2024, Hind was trapped for hours inside a car after being exposed to gunfire, surrounded by the bodies of her family members, making her the only survivor. During those hours, she remained in contact with Red Crescent volunteers who tried to cross a maze of military and government approvals to reach her.
The film transcends the boundaries of traditional cinema to become a work of resistance art and an immortal humanitarian impact. Kawthar Ben Hania presents an honest and haunting testimony to the tragedy of war, which will resonate long in the minds of viewers after the show ends.
