Coaches of the Egyptian Super Clubs in Abu Dhabi confirm their readiness to participate in the semi-final matches

ABU DHABI, 5 November / WAM / The coaches of the teams participating in the Egyptian Football Super Cup in Abu Dhabi confirmed their readiness to compete in the tournament, which will be held during the period from 6 to 9 November with the participation of the teams: Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Pyramids, and Ceramica Cleopatra.

The two semi-final matches will be held tomorrow, as Al-Ahly will meet Ceramica Cleopatra at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in the Al Ain region at 19:00 pm, while the second match will meet Zamalek with Pyramids on the same day at 21:30 pm at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

Al-Ahly coach Yes Torop said during the press conference for the match: “I am very excited to see Al-Ahly fans tomorrow in the stands in front of Ceramica Cleopatra. I know very well the extent of their passion and enthusiasm, and I have witnessed their great support on previous occasions, and I look forward to them being present en masse to encourage the players with full force.”

The coach continued: “This is the first time I have attended the Egyptian Super Championship, and I hope it will be an opportunity to achieve a new title with Al-Ahly. Our goal is clear, which is to reach the final match by winning tomorrow’s match.”

For his part, Ali Maher, Ceramica Cleopatra coach, confirmed his team’s readiness to play the match, and said: “We are fully prepared for the Super Cup matches, and to present a level befitting Egyptian football. The players are in good technical condition, and the team’s personality has become different. Our ambition is to the utmost limits, and our goal is to qualify for the final, and we will do our best.”

He added: “We do not look at Al-Ahly’s results in the league. The Super Championship is different. Al-Ahly is one of the strongest teams in Africa, and therefore our focus is on tomorrow’s match. We want to take advantage of the current condition of the players as well as the fans.”

For his part, Ahmed Abdel Raouf, coach of the Zamalek team, said: “We are ready to take on the Egyptian Super Cup challenge, and we are waiting for the support of the fans during the match in order to qualify for the final match. I have great confidence in the team players currently present despite the absences, but everyone is up to the responsibility.”

He added: “Football only recognizes effort and hard work. We respect the Pyramids team, but we will work to achieve our goal of winning to reach the final match.”

Pyramids coach Kronoslav Jurcic said: “We are playing a derby match against the Zamalek team, and it is a match governed by small details… We are ready to take on the challenge against the Zamalek team.”

He stressed that his team has an elite group of players capable of winning championships, and the past period has witnessed the crowning of many championships, but he wants to achieve more, and this is normal for any team, pointing to his great confidence in his players and their ambition to achieve victory and reach the final.
