$5.27 trillion in China’s trade in 10 months, with a growth of 3.6%

BEIJING, 7 November / WAM / Official data issued by the General Authority of Customs of China, today, Friday, showed that the total value of imports and exports of goods in China amounted to 37.31 trillion yuan (about 5.27 trillion US dollars) during the first ten months of this year.

The authority stated that this figure represents an increase of 3.6% on an annual basis, but it indicated that the pace of increase recorded in the first ten months slowed compared to the 4% growth recorded in the first nine months of the year.

In October alone, China’s goods imports and exports registered a slight growth of 0.1% year on year, bringing their total value to 3.7 trillion yuan.
