The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in the Arab Republic of Egypt discussed, during the fifth coordination meeting of the joint committee held yesterday evening, Thursday, at the headquarters of the sheikhdom in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the holding of joint scientific seminars on a regular basis between the two sides. To enhance Correct religious awareness and confronting deviant ideas, in addition to a number of Ministry of Islamic Affairs for Islamic affairs, Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, in the presence of members of the committee from both sides.
Sustained cooperation and efforts from both sides
During the meeting, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, conveyed to the Chairman and members of the committee the greetings of His Excellency the Minister Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, who follows the work of the joint committee and supports its efforts in implementing the scientific and advocacy programs emanating from it, stressing his appreciation for Al-Azhar’s keenness. Sharif to strengthen cooperation in order to achieve common goals in serving religious work in the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, appreciated the convergence of visions and consensus in goals witnessed by the recent joint international symposium between the two sides in the field of spreading the approach of moderation and moderation, calling for formulating the outcomes of the symposium and presenting them as knowledge content that would benefit those working in the fields of advocacy and Sharia education.
He also praised " Al-Duwaini " With the qualitative achievements achieved by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting the values of moderation, moderation and tolerance at the local and international levels, stressing that it is a model to be emulated in this field.
