The Head of State and the Prime Minister of Montenegro discuss relations between the two countries

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Milojko Spajic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro, discussed various aspects of joint cooperation and opportunities for its development, especially in the economic, developmental, educational, cultural, renewable energy and other fields, in a way that serves the development priorities of the two countries and contributes to achieving their mutual interests.

This came during a meeting with His Highness, at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, who is on a working visit to the country.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed their keenness to strengthen the course of bilateral relations in various fields in a way that meets the aspirations of the two countries for further progress and development.

The meeting also touched on a number of issues of common interest, and the two sides exchanged views on them.

His Highness the President and Prime Minister of Montenegro witnessed the ceremony of exchanging a memorandum of understanding in the field of energy between the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Montenegro, which was exchanged by Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and from Montenegro’s side, Admir Sahmanovic, Minister of Energy and Mining.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
