Sharjah Airport announced the launch of the home check-in service, which allows passengers departing through the airport the opportunity to complete all travel procedures smoothly, and go directly to the passport control area upon their arrival at the airport with ease. A specialized team from Sharjah Airport will complete all travel procedures, starting with issuing the boarding pass and receiving luggage from the home, workplace or hotel. This service aims to meet the needs of different categories of travellers, whether families or businessmen who wish to complete travel procedures from home quickly and flexibly.
The home check-in service comes within flexible and diverse packages that have been specially prepared to suit the different needs of travelers depending on the number of bags. The coral package starts at 145 AED and includes one to two bags, the silver package is for 165 dirhams and includes three to four bags, while the gold package is offered at a price of 185 dirhams and covers up to six bags. In the event of additional bags, a fee of 20 dirhams applies. for each additional bag and in line with the airline’s baggage policy. This service is currently available in its first phase to cover various areas located in the city of Sharjah only, ensuring easy access to a wide segment of travelers.
