Trump: The conflict in Ukraine would have turned into a world war if it were not for my presence

US President Donald Trump stated that the conflict in Ukraine would have developed into World War III if he had not been at the helm of power in the United States.

Trump said in statements reported by media outlets: I believe that this war would not have broken out if I had been president from the beginning… and if I had not been president today, it might have developed into World War III.
