Oil prices rise with anticipation of the end of the US government shutdown

Oil prices settled on Monday evening, with investors evaluating measures to end US government shutdown.
Contracts rose Brent crude futures rose 43 cents, or about 0.68%, to reach $64.06 per barrel upon settlement.
US West Texas Intermediate crude reached $60.13 per barrel, up 38 cents, or 0.64% upon settlement.
