المملكة: Urgent – Human Resources raises the rate of documenting employment contracts to 85% by the end of April and 90% by the end of June


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the update of the compliance requirements for documenting employment contracts via the Qiwa platform, by raising the target compliance rate to 85% starting from April 30, 2026, with the second phase being completed by raising the percentage to 90% by the end of June 30, 2026.

Enhancing compliance with labor regulations

The Ministry explained that the compliance rate is calculated directly by comparing the number of documented contracts to the total contracts of employees at the facility, which allows establishments to monitor their performance. Accurately and clearly, as updating the controls comes within the Ministry’s efforts to enhance compliance with work regulations, raise the level of transparency and preserve rights between the parties to the contractual relationship. The Ministry calls on all establishments to begin reviewing undocumented employment contracts and complete the documentation procedures via the Qiwa platform, in order to ensure achieving the required percentage and avoid any difficulties that may affect the benefit of services related to compliance indicators.

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is working to enhance the compliance of private sector establishments and raise the quality of the contractual relationship, and documenting employment contracts is an essential pillar for ensuring rights and duties and raising the level of transparency in the work environment.
