Gargash confirms the UAE’s support for efforts aimed at ending the Yemeni crisis

Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, met with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and discussed with him the latest developments in the Yemeni crisis.

During the meeting, Dr. Anwar Gargash stressed the UAE’s support for the international efforts and the efforts made by the envoy in the file, stressing the importance of addressing the region’s issues through political and diplomatic means and paths, and moving towards a sustainable political solution that ends the crisis and human suffering experienced by the Yemeni people.

He stressed that the UAE stands with the brotherly Yemeni people and supports all efforts aimed at ending the crisis with its political and humanitarian repercussions.

For his part, the UN envoy reviewed the latest developments in the Yemeni file with international, regional and local parties and the efforts he is making in this context.

The meeting comes on the sidelines of the UN official’s participation in the twelfth edition of the Abu Dhabi Strategic Forum, organized by the Emirates Policy Center.
