Mediation efforts between America and Iran have reached a dead end

The Wall Street Journal reported today that current Pakistan-led mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire between the United States and Iran have reached a dead end.
The newspaper added that Iran has officially informed the mediators that it is not ready to meet with American officials in Islamabad in the coming days, and considers American demands unacceptable.
