“Emirates Businesswomen” participates in a Gulf forum in Doha

The Emirates Businesswomen’s Council is participating with a delegation of 30 businesswomen in the 7th Gulf Businesswomen’s Forum, which Doha is hosting during the period from 12 to 13 November, under the slogan “Entrepreneurship and Investment Sustainability.”

The delegation is headed by Aisha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla, President of the Emirates Businesswomen’s Council, with the participation of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for the Support Services Sector, Badriya Yousef Al Mulla, along with a number of chairpersons and members representing government and private councils, each of the councils of the Emirates Businesswomen’s Council, the Ajman Businesswomen’s Council, the Umm al-Quwain Businesswomen’s Council, the Fujairah Businesswomen’s Council, in addition to the Jordanian-Emirati Businesswomen’s Council.

Aisha Al-Mulla stressed that the Emirati participation in the forum represents a strategic opportunity to exchange Gulf experiences in the areas of sustainable investment, and to showcase successful Emirati models in women’s entrepreneurship.

In turn, the First Vice President of the Emirates Businesswomen Council and Deputy Head of the Delegation, Dr. Amal Al-Haddabi, said that Emirati women have proven their ability to lead qualitative projects in the fields of technology, clean energy, and creative industries, noting that the UAE has become a regional model in empowering women economically, legislatively, and institutionally.
