المملكة: "today" Monitoring electric scooters and mechanisms involved in serving the pilgrims
On a field trip to a newspaper "in its fifth edition, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in cooperation with the under the slogan "“From Mecca to the World”, during the period from 9 to 12 November 2025 AD, the presence of Public Security became prominent by displaying one of the latest technical means supporting field work in the Holy Sites: the electric scooter.
Through this initiative, Public Security aims to facilitate the movement of security personnel in crowded areas within the Holy Sites, and enable them to quickly reach the sites of reports and follow up on the security situation with high efficiency.
Electric scooter
The electric scooter is a means of transportation. Modern and environmentally friendly, it contributes to alleviating traffic congestion and reducing carbon emissions, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in transitioning towards a more sustainable and intelligent environment.
During the tour, visitors learned about the foot patrols that use electric scooters in their field missions, as security men reviewed the mechanism of using them in field surveillance and moving among crowds, stressing that it represents a qualitative addition in improving the speed of response and raising the efficiency of security work in the holy sites, especially during peak seasons.
This display is considered one of the most prominent features of the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion, which brings together under its umbrella multiple sectors showcasing their modern technologies in serving the guests of God, reflecting the integration between security and service agencies to achieve a safe and smooth Hajj experience that keeps pace with the aspirations of the leadership, and meets the needs of pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims from different parts of the world.
